All the words that came up to my head. Verbal diarrhea; in a good way. Sometimes I would think up some words just before I’ve shifted off to sleep and then I had to get up and write. Usually it was so difficult to read it the next morning. But it felt good.It felt good like reading horrors at night. Masterton and King. Under the duvet, with the flash light. I knew my mother would come running at the first sign of light coming out of my room. Still. Reading. Until the first blood. Then you have to close the book. Switch the light of. Try not to visualize the scene you’ve just read about. Yuck! Terrible. Back to reading. Another five pages. Then all the same all over again.I used to, always, go to sleep with the radio on. Comforting, soft voices of the night dj are knitted into my dreams. I always dream. I love having dreams about flying. It’s so real. So, doable. You just couldn’t wait to wake up and try. The unfortunate reality of the alarm clock always has denied my right to fly afterwards. I dream about the life without an alarm clock. That would be my ultimate award.
